Group Membership: A Complete Guide for Teachers

Welcome to Sharek. Our Group Membership is designed specifically for educators and school leaders who want to bring the power of AI-driven Arabic learning to their classrooms.

This guide will walk you through how to set up your teacher account (the “Parent” account) and how to add your students so they can begin using our tools.

1. How Group Membership Works

The Group Membership follows a “Parent and Seat” model:

  • The Teacher (Parent): You manage the subscription, view the dashboard, and have the authority to add or remove students.

  • The Students (Seats): You are provided with a specific number of “seats” (accounts) that you can assign to your students. Each student gets their own unique login to use the Sharek tools.

2. How to Register

To start your Group Membership (including any special offers or trials), follow these steps:

  1. Click the Registration Link: Use the specific link provided to you (e.g., via email or the Araboo platform).

  2. Apply Your Code: If you have a discount code, ensure it is entered in the “Discount Code” field at checkout. If you used a direct link, this may already be applied for you.

  3. Complete Checkout: Fill in your professional details. Even if the total is £0.00 for a trial period, you may be asked to provide billing details to ensure your service continues without interruption after the trial ends.

  4. Confirmation: Once finished, you will receive a confirmation email, and you will be redirected to your new Sharek Dashboard.

3. How to Add Your Students

Once your account is active, you can start inviting your students immediately.

  1. Log in to Sharek: Go to www.sharek.co.uk and log in.

  2. Go to ‘Manage Group’: In your member menu or dashboard, click on “Manage Group” (or “Group Accounts”).

  3. Invite Students: You have two ways to add students:

    • The Invite Link: Copy the unique “Sign-up Link” provided on your dashboard and send it to your students. When they click this link, they can create their own username and password, and they will be automatically linked to your group.

    • Manual Addition: Enter the student’s email address directly into the dashboard to send them an invitation.

  4. Track Progress: Your dashboard will show you how many seats you have used and which students have successfully joined.

4. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I remove a student and add a new one? Yes. If a student leaves your class, you can “remove” them from your group dashboard. This frees up a seat, allowing you to invite a new student.

What happens if I need more seats? If your class size grows, you can upgrade your membership level at any time through your account settings to accommodate more students.

Do my students need to pay? No. As long as they join using your unique group link, their access is covered by your Group Membership.
